June ScrapSimple Club

Hello my lovlies. It's time to show you the June ScrapSimple Club that came out a little over a week ago. It's filled with some fun things to help you along your memory keeping ways. This is kinda  long post, so grab a cup of coffee and let me explain everything.....

For those of you that don't know what "The Club" is, it's a monthly membership program where basically being a member gets you a group of products every month at a HUGE savings. Like mega to the max ;) (yes I grew up in the 80's)

The BIG Club is pre-finished kits, like collections with add-ons for those who like to scrap with everything already fixed up for you. The ScrapSimple Club is a special club for those of you who like to get creative and make things for yourself, so it includes templates and tools. This club is also available with a commercial license option for other designers out there. The great deal is basically... for less than the price of 2-3 Starbucks coffees, you can have new fun things every month and also get to try out new designers. Click below to see all the goodies:

This month the June SS Club was mine and I went with a newspaper theme.

It includes newspaper templates, both dimensional and flat, overlays for creases and texture, puzzle templates like find a word, suduko, mazes & crosswords plus some fun brush stamps.

This alphabet brush set is HUGE and probably my favorite product in the group. I love making titles with it and stamping letters on top of others like some of the tiles in this blog post.

Big Stamps comes in PNG & ABR (Photoshop Brush) formats. If you like to get artsy or do some art journaling this set is great for that.

These are the newspaper templates. You get the layouts for basic pages, plus the dimensional templates if you want to mimic a real folded newspaper. Also included in this set are 2 fold overlays and 1 newspaper texture.

This group is called "In Print" it's a set of text typed templates for overlays to collages. These are great to place over photos or use to make backgrounds. 2 Texture overlays are included in this group (a film screen and a newspaper halftone) This helps give your newspaper an authentic look.

Everyone loves the puzzles included in the newspaper. This set has mazes, crossword, find a word & suduko. Make backgrounds or use as overlays to make some fun images.

This layout uses the film screen overlay from In Print, a text block and the XL Stamped Alpha to make the title. This is Wes, my nephew...he's my super kid. What a ham!

This got a little artistic showing off one of my favorite perfumes "Versace". It used that film screen & halftone overlays from In Print, The XL Stamped Alpha for the numbers and the flowers & paint splats from Big Stamps.

These are the fun newspaper templates. The above shows the basic layout templates so you can record big events like births, graduation, holidays & sports. Plus what it looks like when you overlay your news story on one of the folded newspapers.

This layout shows some ideas on how you might use some of the text and puzzles as accents on your layouts.

I wanted to show you that you could also use just parts of the puzzle templates and texty overlays on your layouts. This sample uses just the letters of the find a word puzzle and just the numbers of the suduko puzzle. They come in PNG & PSD formats so you can mix and match.

More fun with the XL Stamped Alpha, a folded newspaper and text collages.

Did I mention there were 2 video tutorials included in this month's club? Every month you also get 2 tutorials from the designer showing you how to use some of the products in the club. This is the sample layout for one of the tutorials. It shoes you how to create a poster type layout with text overlayed on parts of the image.

Mix text with photos and patterns for fun photo collages. I added the halftone pattern over the photos to give it an newsprint effect.

One last perk is the free highlighter set included in the club membership. While the other parts of the club eventually become available for purchase at normal prices, the free gift doesn't. It's just a membership thing.

I hope you check it out, it's a great bargain. You can grab it at as little as $5.99 a month when you purchase the annual payment plan or $6.99 for the monthly plan. Cancel anytime.

I know that was a lot of info, so if you made it this far in the post, I am grateful for your attention! Love and hugs........

Have a BEAUTIFUL weekend!
