Winter's Kiss Collection

This week I have a seasonal collection called "Winter's Kiss". It is not particularly Christmas themed, but it certainly could be used for the holidays or it can be used for those winter memories you want to save like building snowmen, the first blanket of snow in your neck of the woods or hot cocoa and ice skating.

Combine it with other Holiday themed kits for a a soft look to your Christmas & Hanukkah layouts.

Add splattering and light snow enhancements to your digital scrapbooking layouts with this set of 6 winter sprays.
These go beautifully over photos and behind clusters.

This set also comes in a BONUS BRUSH SET for Photoshop and programs that can use Photoshop Brushes.

Are you one that is always on the go and haven't time to sit down and create Christmas layouts for your family? I know, my sister Jessica is like that. With 5 yr old twins she hardly has time for herself. That is why I created the JIFFY set for "A Christmas to Remember"
JIFFY Easy Page Album: 12x12 A Christmas to Remember
What is great about these type of layouts is that they come in layers (in PSD & PNG formats)
So you can move things around individually or switch things out to your liking, but still keep it quick.
The original layout didn't have a photo, but in this case I added a Christmas family picture to show you how it can be versatile.
By changing out the background from the original and adding a few new embellishments, you can create many different looks. So use it as is or as a template for your own creations.

The new website is a quick reference showing you the latest collections, seasonal products, great basics & tutorials, all with links. The store is SO big over at Scrapgirls, I hope this saves some searching time.

That is all for now, I better get back to work. Thanks for taking a moment to take a peek here on the blog. Happy Holidays to everyone!

New Christmas Collection & Holiday Cards

Well, it's that wonderful time of year again!  I hope all of you in the US had a great Thanksgiving and lots of fun shopping yesterday. I wish I could have been there.

I feel like I was skidding into home base with this one. I truly wanted it to be finished this week and even Angie over at Scrap Girls was helping me in between baking at her house. What a literal "Sweetie Pie" ;)   OK on to the new stuff.....

The inspiration for this kit started (as usual) with one photo. This time it came from this photo from Something... She has some gorgeous food ideas for the holidays. I could only dream of making something as gorgeous as this. My original ideas was to go more toward a baking theme, but before I knew it, I had more stuff than I could use, maybe I could work on that next.

A Christmas to Remember digital Scrapbook Collection is a traditional holiday collection, perfect for the scrapping those precious Christmas moments to remember year after year. Great for making holiday layouts, cards and crafts.

Included in the Collection:

Lots of fun embellishments are included in this kit. The vintage reindeer are my favorite.
I think a little over 60 elements are in this part of the collection.

The papers have an overall creased themed effect. I love the idea of using brown paper for wrapping and such. It makes for a fun background for your scrapbooks and crafts.

There are actually 2 alpha sets in this collection, plus the word art. This part is only available with the collection.

I also had a set of 3 Printable 5x7 Christmas Photo Cards, ready to add your family photos. Here is what they look like finished & ready to be put in the mail or sent out as E Cards.

And finally set of 3 Wood Papers.(I started these first as I was really drawn to it in the inspiration photo.

I really had fun with these little gift boxes. I decided not to go crazy with bows so you could layer them, stamp them or journal on them & even add a bow if you like. I included a few little accents in the set to use at your discretion.  The simple ones like the brown paper packages could be used for anything, birthdays, anniversaries, weddings etc...

So with all of this I was able to bundle it into a Christmas to Remember Value Pack, which pretty much gets you one of the add-ons for free.

Do you do an advent calendar? This one is of course digital, but it is a fun way to remember the little gifts you got that year and save it in your scrapbook.

You'll see in a few of these layouts some fun lighting effects. This add a little bit of holiday sparkle to your layouts. I have 2 sets of overlays that help achieve this effect. ScrapSimple Paper Templates: Lighting Effects and ScrapSimple Paper Templates: Lighting Effects 2 Biggie.

I great way to remember your holidays is to tell the stories of little things that happened. This layout is a story about Lilly flipping excited over one of the smallest things...Disney Band aids!

If you like this collection, you will probably like Cottage Christmas as well. It's one of my favorites.

Well, that is it for today my friends...have a fabulous weekend!

New Dinner Party Collection + Freebie

Just in time for the holidays!

Well you' d think after 7 years I could do a collection for Thanksgiving. ;)  I hope you like this one, it's "Thanksgivingesque" LOL I really just has a couple of holiday related word art and a turkey. The rest can be used any time of year for all of your dinner get togethers.

It has lots of fun goodies in it, also great for making cards and crafts.  I love the lit votive candles and I included 2 Photoshop Styles for them in the collection for adding them to light or dark backgrounds.  Here's peek at some of the embellishments.
There is also an extra paper pack for those of you who like blended layouts or art journaling.
And lastly a fun brush set. I originally made these all wire, but in doing the layouts samples, I found I liked some of them stamped, especially the words. It evolved into a brush set, that you can add metal styles to and make wire embellishments OR use them as digital stamps.
Here are some samples:

The following brushes also come in a dynamic version (meaning it scatters and changes size):
Fork, Knife, Spoon, Apple & Thankful.

You can get all 3 in a value pack and save a little money, that is always a good thing!

Here are a few layout samples for inspiration:
